Art Deco Cabochon Cut Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1920s
Out of stock
This unusual and intriguing ring features a 2.80 carat cabochon cut sapphire in the centre, which just shines. It is a fantastic blue, and is highlighted wonderfully by a stream of sapphires on either side which total 0.15 carat. They are french cut and calibrated perfectly to sit alongside one another in their tension setting. The sapphires are held by platinum which is finished with a delicate mille-grain edge. The diamond cluster which surrounds consists of old cut diamonds, which are hand cut for this ring. They total 0.50 carat and the dazzling diamonds are estimated to be G in colour and VS in clarity. They are grain set within platinum, which leads into the shank. The gallery is made from small hoops, which will have been handcrafted and placed onto this beautiful dress ring.
