Art Deco 2.20ct Diamond Solitaire Ring, c.1930s

This Art Deco take on the timeless solitaire ring is beautifully hand crafted. At it’s centre sits a 2.20 carat old cushion cut diamond with a colour of J and clarity of VS2. The diamond has been delicately claw set into an open platinum collet adorned with a further fourteen small diamonds. These sparkling diamonds sit amongst elegant carving work that continues down the shank. Atop each shoulder an additional four round brilliant diamonds are set bringing the additional diamond weight to 0.26 carat total. This stunning piece has been made entirely in platinum, showcasing the master craftsmanship of the era.
