Art Deco 1.50ct Diamond and Sapphire Pendant, c.1920s

This exquisite pendant, dating to the 1920s, centres around a 0.40 carat old cut diamond. Encircling it is a ring of French cut sapphires totalling 0.40 carat, framed at the four cardinal points by diamonds of 0.20 carat each. Set above the pendant forming a graceful drop, a single 0.25 carat diamond connects to the chain with a smaller 0.05 carat diamond linking it to the main pendant. The diamonds range in colour from I to J and match in clarity at VS. Crafted in platinum, this wonderful piece is presented on a 15″ chain.
