Art Deco 0.70 Carat Emerald and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1940s

This art deco ring dates back to approximately the 1940s and features a sea green emerald in the centre, weighing 0.70 carat. It is set within an 18 carat white gold rub over setting. In the halo which surrounds the emerald, there are four diamonds in each corner, and four at each cardinal point. They have a combined weight of 0.60 carat and are also rub over set, to match the centre stone. The spilt shoulders are also diamond studded, totalling 0.28 carat and are eight cut diamonds. All the diamonds on this hand crafted ring are estimated to be G in colour and VS in clarity. It is a beautiful dress ring, and all made of 18 carat white gold.
