Victorian 0.30ct Ruby and Diamond Clover Ring, c.1880s

A gorgeous ruby is surrounded by old cut diamonds in this Victorian cluster ring. The 0.30 carat ruby is emerald cut, and is a deep red colour. Four old cut diamonds surround the ruby, and are graded as F colour and VS clarity. Each diamond is 0.20 carat, and make the pattern of a four-leaf clover. The gems are held in a open work claw setting, which is made of 18 carat yellow gold. This lovely ring would have been made in the 1880s.
