Vintage 3.00ct Platinum Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1970s

This beautiful cluster ring boasts a collection of diamonds, set expertly to show off their true beauty. The centre stone is a princess cut diamond, which weighs 0.88 carat and is wonderfully highlighted by round brilliant cut and baguette cut diamonds graduating out from each corner of the centre stone. The round brilliants and baguette cuts have a combined weight of 3.00 carat.

The princess cut centre stone comes with a GIA certificate, stating the colour and the clarity as J colour and VS1 clarity. All the stones are claw set, which would have been done by hand. The craftsmanship of the ring continues into the band, which is made of platinum. The gallery and shank are expertly crafted to hold all the diamonds perfectly in place, and the strong lines and symmetrical design is typical of the vintage era.
