Victorian 1.10ct Sapphire and Diamond Three Stone Ring, c.1880s

This beautifully carved shank trilogy ring dates back to the Victorian era. Taking centre stage, a vivid old cushion cut Sapphire is flanked by two old cut diamonds with a further four rose cut diamonds set in between, giving that extra sparkle. The central Sapphire weighs 1.10 carat and is a natural unheated stone. The two accompanying diamonds on either side weigh 0.85 carat each and match in colour at G and VS2 in clarity. The ring itself has been hand made from 18 carat gold and features intricate hand carving work along both shoulders and the gallery.
