Victorian 1.10ct Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1870s

A total of forty-nine diamonds are on display in this beautifully designed cluster ring. To the centre of the sunburst design a 0.50 carat old cut diamond proudly sits. Down each arm of the burst a further twelve old cut diamonds and thirty-six rose cut diamonds are set bringing the total weight to 1.10 carat. The diamonds range in colour from G to H and match in clarity at VS2. Characterful aged silver holds all the diamonds in claw settings, with a beautifully crafted basket and band of 18 carat yellow gold completing the ring in traditional Victorian fashion.
