A beautiful 0.50 carat blue sapphire is the star of this Victorian ring. It is a lovely blue colour, and is an oval cut. Surrounding the sapphire is a halo of old cut diamonds totalling to 0.36 carat. They are H colour and SI clarity. The gems are claw set in the 18 carat yellow gold setting, which features gorgeous carved patterns on the shoulders and gallery. This ring was made by a great craftsman in the 1880s.
