A gorgeous opal and diamond cluster ring, dating back to 1910. The centre opal is rubover set and is 0.50 carats. It is cabochon cut, which gives it a lovely domed effect, and really allows the gem stone to shine. The opal is haloed by 0.50 carats worth of old cuts diamonds, which are also rubover set. The diamonds are estimated to be G in colour and VS in clarity. The hand made ring has millegrain edging around the setting which is all made of platinum. The shank is then made of 18 carat yellow gold.
