A timeless and elegant solitaire engagement ring set with one round brilliant cut diamond set in a six claw platinum collet. The diamond has been estimated as F in colour and VS2 in clarity. Set to either shoulder is a baguette diamond, weighing 0.10 carats each. These match in quality and have been tension set. The band has been separately made in 18ct white gold and then expertly joined together with the platinum head. The engagement ring dates back to c.1940s.
