Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond Three Stone Ring, c.1910

This wonderfully hand crafted ring features a deep blue sapphire, weighing 1.50 carat, in the centre. It has two diamonds set on either side, making the trilogy. The diamonds have been estimated as G in colour and VS1 in clarity, and each weigh 0.50 carat. They are old cut diamonds, which would have been hand carved and set within their platinum collets. The sapphire sits beautifully within an 18 carat yellow gold collet, which links into the 18 carat yellow gold shank. The sapphire has been certified by an independent lab who have confirmed it is a natural stone which is unheated and untreated. It would make a stunning engagement ring, or even a wonderful dress ring.
