Edwardian 0.50ct Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1910s

A charming c.1910s cluster ring featuring a carre cut sapphire rub over set in the centre surrounded by a halo of old cut diamonds. The natural sapphire weighs 0.50 carat and its vivid blue colour is highlighted with the sparkling diamonds surrounding. The diamonds total to 0.36 carats and are of G colour and SI clarity. Safely encasing the sapphire is a smooth edging of 18ct yellow gold which then adjoins to the platinum collets, encasing the diamonds. An 18ct yellow gold band completes the look of this sweet ring.
