A deep blue sapphire is the centre of this Edwardian ring. The 0.15 carat sapphire is old cut, and is surrounded by a halo of old cut diamonds. Eight diamonds form the halo, totalling to 0.40 carat. They are estimated as G colour and VS2 clarity. The gemstones are grain set in platinum, which is set on gently tapering 18 carat yellow gold band. This sweet ring would have been made by hand in the 1910s.
