Art Deco Diamond Bracelet, c.1920s
This beautiful piece from the 1920s is made with old cut diamonds and platinum. The diamonds graduating in size, starting with a 0.80 carat stone in the centre and moving out, 0.50 carat, 0.30 carat and 0.15 carat along each row. They all match in quality, estimated as F-G in colour and VS1 in clarity, which is top quality. Each diamond is rub over set within it’s own collet. Surrounding the main line of diamonds are small 8-cut diamonds, which have a combined weight of 0.86 carat. The diamonds make up half of the bracelet, whilst the remainder are platinum links with a secure clasp. All along the side of the gallery is handcrafted engraving work, which adds character to this charming bracelet.
