Art Deco 1.00ct Sapphire and Diamond Bow Brooch, c.1920s

This wonderfully delicate art deco brooch takes the form of a bow, and is embellished with diamonds and a sapphire. The old cushion cut sapphire is 1.00 carat, and is a deep blue colour. The framework of the bow is set with old cut diamonds, totalling to  3.40 carat. They are great quality, with colour grades ranging from F to G, and a clarity grade of VS. The gems are rub over set in the intricate platinum framework of the bow. This piece was made by hand in the 1920s.
