Victorian 6.00ct Star Ruby and Diamond Drop Earrings, c.1900s

Dating back to the 1900s, this wonderful pair of Victorian drop earrings feature two enchanting star rubies. Crafted in 15 carat yellow gold the earrings are of a simple design with the two 6.00 carat cabochon rubies as the stars of the show. Each ruby has been rub over set with a single 0.20 carat, old cut diamond sat above. A small drop of gold then dangles below the rubies for an elegant finish. This stunning pair are 3cm in length and are fastened on the ear with 9 carat butterfly backs.
