Victorian 2.10ct Sapphire and Diamond Five Stone Ring, c.1880s

This striking ring dates back to c.1880 and features three oval sapphires and four old cut diamonds in an alternating sequence. The centre sapphire weighs 0.90 carat with the sapphires at either end weighing 0.60 carat each. The old cuts total to 0.60 carats and are estimated to be H in colour and SI in clarity. These stones are claw set into a classic Victorian 18ct yellow gold shank with hand carved shoulders.
