This sensational Art Deco dinner ring was handmade in France during the 1930s. The piece is set in a remarkable argyle-like pattern with a combination of old cut diamonds, and princess and triangle cut natural sapphires. The dazzling diamonds have a combined weight of 0.90 carat and are G in colour and VS in clarity. The expertly set sapphires total 0.32 carat. The ring’s original rectangular platinum mounting shows a high level of period craftsmanship in its pierced scrolling gallery, millegrain flourishes, and decorative diamond set tri-part shoulders.
