Edwardian Sapphire and Diamond Five Stone Ring, c.1910
18 Carat Yellow Gold & Platinum
This beautiful handmade ring dates to the Edwardian period. It features three claw set sapphires which are Asscher cuts. They have a combined weight of 0.65 carat; the centre weighs 0.35 carat and the two on either end, 0.15 carat each. Set in between are old cut diamonds, each weighing 0.10 carat and estimated as G in colour and VS in clarity. The claw setting work has been made in platinum whilst the shank, traditional to the period, is in 18 carat yellow gold.
