Art Deco 2.81ct Diamond and Sapphire Halo Ring, c.1930s

This stunning ring features a 2.81 carat transitional cut diamond within a rub over setting. The diamond is certified by the London based company, EDR (European Diamond Reports), who have graded the stone as H in colour and SI1 in clarity. The halo consists of hand cut sapphires which are a rich blue in colour. The sapphires are calibrated expertly and have a total weight of 1.02 carat. They have been channel set and finished with a mille-grain edge. There is another diamond on each shoulder. The setting is finished with a mille-grain edge and the entire ring is made in platinum.
