Antique Three Colour Diamond Drop Pendant, c.1900s

The diamond which begins the drop is a wonderful pink, cushion cut diamond weighing 0.50 carat. It is expertly claw set in platinum, and the reminder of the gallery is made of 18 carat yellow gold. This is true of all three settings. Next in the cascade is a 1.00 carat yellow diamond. Certified as Fancy yellow, it is a stunning stone, with a strong clarity of VS2. It is an old cut, which means it would have been hand cut, and hand set within the mount. The final addition of this threesome is a rare trillion cut diamond. Certified by EDR as a colour grade E, it is the perfect comparison to the diamonds above. It completes the set which hangs on a platinum chain.
