Old cut diamonds and oval-shaped old cut rubies alternate in quintessential Edwardian era fashion to comprise this beautiful and colourful five stone ruby and diamond ring. The diamonds, which have a total weight of 0.40 carat, and shining in their collets and are G in colour and VS in clarity. The wonderful pink rubies, work in perfect harmony and total 0.65 carat. This ring, which dates from the 1910s, was handcrafted with a pierced platinum gallery that is set between raised and tapered shoulders atop an 18 carat yellow gold band.
