Late Art Deco Diamond and Emerald Brooch, c.1940s

18 Carat White Gold

This elegant little brooch is made of 18 carat white gold and boasts a harmony of diamonds and emeralds. The main stones are transitional cut diamonds, which are horizontally set alongside one another. They are estimated G in colour and VS clarity, making them truly shine. Throughout the brooch, you also have little rose cut diamonds, which add to the sparkle. The diamonds have a combined weight of 0.50 carat. To add some flare and colour to the design, baguette cut and rose cut emeralds are set in the geometric design, in conjunction with the diamonds. They have a combined weight of 0.28 carat and are in a rub over setting, matching the diamonds. To finish off the piece, the exquisite millegrain edging shows off the craftsmanship and skill involved with the making. It is an ideal gift, and wonderful for a special occasion.
