EDR Certified 2.25 Carat Diamond Engagement Ring with Set Shoulders, c.1900s
Platinum
This splendid example of an Edwardian era diamond solitaire engagement ring centres a stunning EDR Certified, 2.25 carat, old cut diamond. Four-corner claws add geometric interest to the round stone, which is embellished to either side with a diamond set foliate motif and one additional diamond at each shoulder.
This antique ring was handmade in platinum around the turn of the twentieth century in consummate Edwardian style with beautiful hand engraved details at the gallery and shoulders, decorative cheniers, and a standard of artistry that is rarely duplicated in modern jewellery.
