Art Deco Diamond Three Stone Engagement Ring, c.1940s
Out of stock
This is a beautiful art deco ring, classically 1940s, with a traditional three stone style. The diamonds are round brilliants and are claw set. The collet and claws are made of platinum, which helps with the life and sparkle of the stones. The centre diamond weighs 0.15 carat and is supported by diamonds weighing 0.075ct on either side.
All the diamonds have a colour grade estimate of G and clarity of VS. Although the collet is made of platinum, the band is handcrafted out of 18 carat yellow gold. This then blends into the platinum shoulders and galleries. This was a typical feature of the time period, and first gained popularity in the 1880s.
